Materials Engineered for Extremes

Material selection is critical in aerospace. We offer three primary alloy paths, all detailed in our Bellows Material Selection Guide:

  • Inconel 718: Strength retention to 700°C, outstanding oxidation resistance, non-magnetic. Ideal for engine bleed air ducting and exhaust system flexible joints.
  • AM350: Precipitation-hardened stainless steel with maximum fatigue resistance. The go-to for dynamic seals in flight control actuators and thrust vectoring systems.
  • Titanium Grade 2: Exceptional strength-to-weight, fully non-magnetic, and immune to chloride stress corrosion. Preferred for satellite structures and naval aviation.

Every aerospace bellows we produce is backed by full material certifications, dye penetrant inspection, and helium leak testing.
